Schaumburg, November 4, 2022 – The Schaumburg Business Association celebrated the successes and accomplishments of the business community with its annual Toast of Schaumburg. The gala style event revolves around Celebration, Recognition and Philanthropy. Philanthropy is achieved by raising funds for the SBA 501c3 Scholarship Fund. The individuals and businesses who donated at the Toast of Schaumburg are the first to be inducted into the 2023 Scholarship Society and received glowing tokens of appreciation to designate them as doners through out the night. The attendees of the event came together to raise $22,520, which will all go towards funding scholarships for graduating seniors to seek higher education. The 2023 Scholarship Society will accept new additions over the next few months and will celebrate their impact at a special VIP event in spring of 2023.
“This year’s Toast of Schaumburg was not just a celebration, but a recognition of the impact that our businesses have through their volunteering, engagement, philanthropy and leadership. This year’s Toast was truly all about the collective partnerships that makes Schaumburg business community so great” said Lisa Gilbert, President of the Schaumburg Business Association.
