Vaccine Appointments now Available for Youth 12-15 Years
Yesterday, the FDA expanded emergency use authorization (EUA) for the BioNTech Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for patients 12-15 years of age. Consistent with this federal ruling, along with state, county and city public health departments, AMITA Health is expanding access and outreach for the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to all patients age 12 and above.
Associates are encouraged to have their children ages 12 and above vaccinated at an AMITA Health ministry at their earliest convenience, if they so choose. There are no longer unique links for scheduling and the link will be shareable. And you can access our mass vaccination schedules through the AMITA Health website at https://www.amitahealth.org/covid-19/vaccine, where you’ll find a scheduling link for direct registration. The list of AMITA Health vaccination sites is below. If you are scheduling for a minor 12 years or older, please make sure you are selecting the two-dose Pfizer vaccine.
