Urgent need in our communities. As part of my Critical Incident Stress Debriefing work I am coordinating resupplying the Bear Book Blanket bags through the Village of Hoffman Estates Youth Commission Program. I am collecting new children’s books, new blankets, and, new stuffed animals to put in a gift bag for children who have experienced trauma. You can imagine the need right now. These bags are kept in first responder vehicles for on scene to provide children with comfort during difficult times. Domestic violence, fire, mass shootings, auto accidents, Amber alert are just a few of the many calls received where children are/may be involved. I have a collection drop box at my office located in Hoffman Estates, however, am happy to have a donation box at an SBA major event if easiest for you to contribute.
