Faith Feeds had its most impactful year in 2023, serving over 25,000 families (83,000+ individuals) in northwestern Cook County. This surpasses the totals from 2022 and 2021 combined. Formerly known as the All Saints Food Pantry, Faith Feeds is a partnership between several area churches in collaboration with Partners for Our Community, Endeavor Health, and the Greater Chicago Food Depository.
Founded in 2011, Faith Feeds has been an emerging presence in our community, offering vital assistance to individuals and families facing food insecurity. Two days a week Faith Feeds operates a pantry at the Community Resource Center at 1585 N. Rand Road, Palatine, where clients can shop for food and household items. Five times a month it takes its goods directly to clients via a mobile food pantry that serves apartment complexes in Arlington Heights, Palatine and Rolling Meadows. The organization is supported by over 1,200 volunteer hours each month.
Faith Feeds is new to the SBA and welcomes everyone to be part of this transformative journey. We are seeking food drives and volunteers; we can accommodate groups between 3-10 people. Whether through volunteer work, donations, or spreading the word about their mission, every contribution plays a vital role in creating a community where no one goes hungry.
