In 2024, Fetching Tails Foundation opened our brand new facility in Schaumburg, called the Adoption Rescue Center (ARC). The ARC can temporarily house up to 13 dogs in cage-free suites. We have 3 outdoor fenced play parks and 3 indoor fenced play parks, creating tons of space for all of our residents to play and get ready for their forever homes. We would not be able to continue the amazing work that we do without our volunteers.
We have so many volunteer opportunities, both ongoing and through special events. Each volunteer helps our rescue dogs find their forever families!
-Dog walking/socializing at our ARC intake facility
-Taking dogs on "field trip" adventures away from the facility
-Fostering adoptable dogs
-Transporting dogs to/from vet appointments
-Transporting/Handling dogs at special events

Howl-o-Ween 5k

Location: Busse Woods, Grove 27. Elk Grove Village.
Details: In need of 8-10 volunteers to help support the race. May assist with things like registration, check-in, providing directions, providing water to runners, passing out awards, etc.
Schaumburg Turkey Trot
Date: Saturday 11/30/24
Time: 7:00am-1:00pm
Location: Busse Woods, Grove 28-30. Elk Grove Village.
Details: In need of 20 volunteers to help support the race. May assist with things like registration, check-in, passing out bibs/event gear, providing directions, providing water to runners, serving donuts, passing out awards, etc.
